Our Mission
Swing Left North Shore/Cape Ann activists work to protect our democracy on multiple fronts. We join campaigns to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in swing states and districts; we engage in voter protection activities; and we participate in local efforts to preserve our constitutional freedoms and push back against federal overreach.

We are
1000+ volunteers based in Swampscott, MA (10 miles north of Boston).
Founded in 2019, our group is a grassroots organization that takes no money to pay for our activities but rather asks people to use their resources and talents to achieve our mission.
Our 2026 Goals
are focused on:
Flipping the US House Blue
Defending the existing Senate seats and adding at least 3 more
Targeting key state legislatures to breakup GOP supermajorities and capture democratic majorities
Our 2026 Plan
is based on:
Leveraging the strength of our membership in targeted and effective activities
Working closely with local Democratic committees, candidates' campaigns, and local/national grassroots groups to maximize our effectiveness
WINNING elections and preserving our democracy!

Electing Democrats
At Swing Left North Shore/Cape Ann (SLNSCA), we engage in a wide range of activities designed to win elections and flip the map blue. We work on projects that have been shown effective through experience and research.
Protecting our Democracy
With all the threats to our democracy, it's not enough to just work behind the scenes to on campaigns. We need to be out in our communities empowering our neighbors to show up and speak out.
