Based in Swampscott, MA (10 miles north of Boston), we are 1000+ volunteers committed to supporting Democrats up and down the ballot. Founded in 2019, our group is a grassroots organization that takes no money to pay for our activities, but rather asks people to use their resources and talents for various projects and funds that we research on their behalf. Through this effort, we identify ways you can invest your time and money that we believe will maximize the impact on upcoming elections.

Our Focus for 2025 will continue to be on winning elections:
Assist in electing Democratic gubernatorial candidates in VA & NJ
Preserve and expand the Democratic majority in the VA House of Delegates
Lay the groundwork to regain the US House in 2026
Our PLAN for 2025 is to engage our friends and neighbors on the north shore of Massachusetts to:
Write letters and postcards to voters
Work on voter protection projects
Canvas and phonebank
Invest money to fund critical races all in our key swing states
Research and disseminate information about risks to our democracy and suggest actions to be taken
Support resistance efforts and publicize events in which our members can participate
In order to be successful, we will continue to work closely with local Democratic committees, candidates' campaigns, and blue organizations in swing states, as well as with Boston-area allies including Swing Blue Alliance and Indivisible MA Coalition - all in pursuit of our common goal of taking back our democracy.
Two states hold major elections for statewide office and the legislature in odd years - NJ & VA.
The NJ governor’s race is rated “lean Democrat” and the Democrats have held a trifecta (governor and both houses of the legislature) since 2018. While we will keep an eye on the NJ races, at this time it does not look like our efforts will be needed there.
So, All Eyes on VA!! Important in and of themselves, the VA elections are always seen as a bellwether for the next regular election cycle, which in 2026 is for the US Senate and House.
At stake in VA:
Winning back the governorship. VA governors are limited to one consecutive term (they can run again at a later election). Gov. Glen Youngkin cannot run again this year and it is an open seat. Cong. Abigail Spanberger is the Democratic candidate; she had no primary opposition. The Republican candidate will be chosen at the June 17 primary.
The House of Delegates is the only legislative body up for reelection in 2025. Democrats have a slim 51-49 vote majority and hope to widen that gap in 2025. For the first time in many election cycles, Democrats are contesting all 100 HoD seats!!!
